Dear Potential New Member, My name is Katherine, and I am the Vice President of Recruitment for the Florida Delta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi. On behalf of Pi Phi, we are so excited to meet you! Registering for recruitment was one of the best decisions I have made and has given me the best college experience I could ask for. I know that recruitment can seem so intimidating at first, but my advice to you is to embrace it. Walk into every house ready to meet all the amazing Panhellenic women who are eager to meet you. As simple as it sounds, be yourself! We have six main values here at Pi Phi, and I truly believe we save the best for last: sincere friendship. A senior last year said this quote, and it has stuck with me ever since: “To be loved is to be seen." In this chapter, that proves to be undeniably true. Whether it’s walking into dinner and feeling comfortable enough to sit next to any sister or receiving surprise “just because” cookies from your best friends, Pi Phi is a place where everyone is seen. Here, people don’t just accept you for who you are — they inspire you to become the best version of yourself. I honestly can’t imagine who I’d be today without them.
